There isn’t much to add here. Every day, just do it. When you’re feeling doubtful, just do it. When you realize you’ve been working for a year on a project without getting paid for it, just do it. When you’ve had your ass handed to you on a platter from your editor, take a day to cry and eat chocolate, then just do it.

No matter what passion you’re pursuing, it can feel unstable. After all, passion is defined as a “strong and barely controllable emotion.” Be gentle with yourself; realize that, in the end, you’ve nothing to lose. With creativity, I truly believe you’ve only things to gain (besides, those lessons you’re learning about your interior life are probably far more valuable that an actual paycheck, right?).

And above all, and forever more, just do it. Just go be a Badass.
